The track system for garage doors is a vital part of the operation and functionality of your door system. Often when the track begins to wear out it begins causing damage to the rollers and hinges on your door and puts strain on your motor. Having properly aligned track void of defects and dents is important to the longevity of your door and its other components.

Hinges and rollers have a large amount of pressure and strain on them every time your garage door is opened and closed, they are the parts that move the most. Rollers are built with bearings that can seize over time causing drag, or break apart when the bearings eventually fail. The hinges either hold the rollers on the end of both sides of the door or are field hinges holding the panels of your garage door together as it travels open and closed on the tracks. Once a hinge breaks whether its an end hinge or field hinge, the weight of that section of door its attached to transfers to the next hinge and if not addressed quickly can cause more damage as time goes on. Replacing and lubricating your hinges and rollers is one of the most important parts of maintaining your garage door.
